Possession of a high level in flexibility and mobility:
As an athlete, it is important to reduce any future injuries by developing mobility in the joints and improving your flexibility in some of the major muscle groups in your body.
This is through exercises such as band assisted static stretching and dynamic stretching, which should be done for about fifteen to thirty minutes daily.

Making sure that you strengthen weak links:
In case you have weak links such as the rotator cuff, forearms, neck and ankle, consider strengthening them so as to improve your performance when playing basketball . This enables you to have a better stability while also correcting bad habits that may cause you some bad injuries.
Forming good habits of staying fit will enable you stay healthy effortlessly without having to put a lot of effort into it. Making sure that you also to rest from one exercise to another, it is important since this will give your body time to heal itself the best way.
